The results are finally in: I have a connective tissue disorder. Most likely early onset arthritis. So with that AND Celiac's disease, I won't be able to eat or move by the time I'm 40. LOVELY.
(I know I'm dramatizing. LET ME HYPERBOLIZE IN PEACE.)

OMFG YOU'RE GOING TO BE FROZEN IN BED AND TUBE-FED APPLESAUCE D: D: D: D:
*Hugs* That sucks total balls. You're entitled to rampant hyperbolising when faced with news like this.
(For the Coeliac, Havoc has a shop just down the road from me and they do gluten-free bacon&egg pies that are so good you'll think you've
died and gone to Valhalla)
Anything that can be done to minimise the impact? Do you need snuggly warm gloves and laprugs for winter?
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh!!!!!!!! *Cries and clings to your legs*
<3
P.S.
Thank you so much for your amazing comment. You're totally fucking awesome, did you know that?
I rant about society too. So long as you try to do little things to try to change the bits you don't like you're entitled to rant! People who rant and do SFA are the annoying ones.
"mental health should just logically be a key componant to health care and just services offered to the population in general. With enough competent staff and ressources... Who knows what could be accomplished in the way of healthier, happier people?"
^YES. THIS.
Every first-year economics student know that in order to maximise the productivity and long-run growth of your country's economy you need to invest in your human capital. Namely the HEALTH and EDUCATION of the population! Mental health is just another aspect of that.
Also: "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" I wonder if anyone has stopped to work out how much time and money would be saved if they helped us early instead of waiting until we were on death's door? That's a study that needs to be done in every single country, for sure!
Love you so much. Take care of yourself, ok? You're not allowed to give up either. If I have to hand around I'm so going to visit the USA one day and I want to have a hot beverage with you!
*Hugs*
DUDE, we get to hang out together in the gimp club! :D
But in all seriousness, that sucks. Do they know what kind of arthritis yours is? Or is it just wear-and-tear?
Also, prepare to be eternally frustrated when you hear vegetarians complain about menus, or people with minor aches and pains boohooing about how hard life is. :D
Oh, dear, that's so terrible. :( I'm sorry to hear that. I've been so out of the loop for forever, and i come back to hear this from my lovey. Is the arthritis partially caused by not eating? Because i am almost certain i am developing it in my knees as well. Perhaps we can be wheelchair-ridden miserables together. Love you darling.
